FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Festival Promises Eclectic Mix of Performers

Havertown, PA – August 8, 2011. After months of auditions, the Haverford Music Festival announces the first wave of confirmed performers on their website (haverfordmusicfestival.org/performers). The festival, a family-oriented event showcasing local and regional performers on two stages, is scheduled for September 17, 2011 from noon to 8:00 pm in the Oakmont area of Havertown.

“Eclectic is the word that best describes our first round of confirmed performers,” affirms Emanuel DelPizzo, Talent Director for the Haverford Music Festival. ”We have something for everybody – indie rock from Donovan Rice and the Standing Cinema, progressive pop from Stelladeora, original music from acoustic singer/songwriter John Valerio, as well as music from a choral group, a string quartet and several high energy bands.” “We are impressed with the high caliber performers who want to play. We want the Haverford Music Festival to represent all musical genres so we’ll be announcing even more bands in the coming weeks,” adds DelPizzo”

“As far as scheduling goes, we have a diverse mix playing earlier in the day and high energy music later on in the day. I know high energy party music because my band, Del’s Groove, is performing one of the later sets,” confirms DelPizzo. “The Haverford Music Festival is still a few weeks away, but you can preview all of our festival performers right now by going to www.iRadioPhilly.com and accessing the BYO internet radio station,” says DelPizzo.

Although the festival is no longer accepting applications to perform, there is still time to become a festival sponsor or vendor. Sponsorship promotes your brand with the synergy of music while a vendor booth lets you meet and make new customers. Contact Jeanette DiLuco ([email protected]) to discuss vending opportunities.
