giada-j(pop) Giada J. is a multi-instrumental Italian-born (Cosenza), US-based singer-songwriter. Her interest in music emerged from childhood when, at the age of 8, she began taking classical piano lessons. Highly influenced by North-American and British songwriting, at 12 years of age she started to teach herself the guitar and to write her first songs, showing a precocious predisposition for composition. In 2012, Giada J. moved to Milan where she kept laying the foundation for her distinctive Italian and English repertoire, while performing in venues and taking part in festivals. Thanks to her knowledge of both languages, Giada J. laid the foundation for her own distinctive bilingual repertoire, developing the unique ability to write songs in English and Italian retaining the same meaning in both versions line by line. During a visit to the United States in 2013 at an Open Mic night at the Legendary Dobbs, Philadelphia, she met local Philadelphia singer-songwriter John Faye (Ike, The Caulfields, John & Brittany) who requested her to be one of the featured artists of the following week. It was at the Featured Artist Open Mic night at the Legendary Dobbs where Giada J. met producer and Philly Sound Studios owner Mariano Mattei. The following year, in May 2014, she decided to travel back to the United States to record her first EP at Philly Sound Studios, co-producing the songs with Mariano Magiada-jttei. From April 2015, she took part in and was selected for performing at major festivals in the Tri-state area (Dewey Beach Popfest, Dewey Beach Music Conference, South Street Festival, Elm Music Fest, Frozen Harbor, Millennium Music Festival, Cape May Singer-Songwriter Weekend), and was also featured on TV for Italian Heritage Night with Phillies vs. Marlins and ABC27 “Good Day PA”. On November 28, 2015 Giada J. released her first EP “Songs To Deliver”, available on all major distributors (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify).
