Event Info

The Haverford Music Festival is a fundraiser for the 501c3 non-profit Haverford Township Civic Council.  Net proceeds from sponsorships, vendors and donations benefit non-profit member groups in Haverford Township such as the Haverford Township Free Library, MusicWorks, Tree Tenders, the Adult School, Haverford Partnership for Economic Development, The Grange Estate, The Havertown Rotary and others.

The Haverford Music Festival is a showcase of music of all genres featuring talented artists, musicians and performers from Haverford Township and the surrounding area.  The event draws about 15,000 people to the center of Havertown for a day of music and fun.  Food vendors offer a variety of culinary delights and local businesses showcase their goods and services.  Please patronize our vendors and businesses who support the Haverford Music Festival.

Volunteers – We need volunteers to make this event a reality.  Please consider a volunteer position for a couple of hours to help sell wristbands and raffle tickets, work backstage or in the beer garden.  Go to the Volunteer page to review positions available and sign up.

Wristbands – Admission is free, however donations are appreciated.  A $2 donation gets a numbered wristband that makes attendees eligible for the many raffle prizes donated by area businesses.  Wristbands may be purchased at festival entry points or at information tables.  There is an inflatable slide for young children who can slide all afternoon with a wristband.  Wristband Raffle winning numbers and prizes will be posted on the website after the event.

Raffle – There will be a $500 cash prize given away in the Haverford Music Festival Cash Raffle.  Raffle ticket sales teams will be roaming the festival grounds and available at information tables.  Cash raffle tickets are $1 each or 15 for $10.  The Cash Raffle  drawing will take place at about 8:15 pm on the Field Stage.  Winner need not be present.  The winning raffle ticket number will be posted on the website after the event.

Restrictions – The Haverford Music Festival is family friendly.  Strollers are welcome in all areas except the beer gardens.  All alcohol sales and consumption is restricted to the designated beer gardens.  Open containers of alcohol are not permitted outside the beer gardens, on the street or fields.  Attendees are not permitted to carry in glass containers, alcoholic beverages, weapons or fireworks.  Bags, backpacks and coolers will be inspected at entry points. No dogs are allowed on the Oakmont Field.
