Showcase Opportunity – The Haverford Music Festival will be a day of FREE outdoor live music on multiple stages in the heart of Havertown. We plan to feature a wide variety of music genres, showcasing the diverse musical talent that Haverford Township has to offer, so we are encouraging all styles of music to submit an application. We anticipate a fun filled day for about 5,000 music lovers from around the area. Proceeds from sponsorships and food vendors will benefit the Haverford Civic Council.
The Haverford Music Festival will be a showcase opportunity for local artists who would like to perform FREE in a large public setting. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your talents to a large audience. In addition, performers will be listed on our website with links to your website, MySpace page and other contact info. All performers who submit an Application and music will receive radio airplay. Your submitted music and bio information will be featured on the “BYO” internet radio station at www.iRadioPhilly.com regardless of whether or not you are selected to perform live at the Haverford Music Festival.
If You Are Selected – Performers selected to play at the Haverford Music Festival will be allotted performance times between 10 minutes and 40 minutes on stage at a pre-scheduled time. From the stage, performers will be permitted to promote their own CD sales, websites, and booking information.
Audio Gear Provided – The Haverford Music Festival will provide the stage, sound, lighting and an “all ages” audience. We will provide “front line” audio including microphones, PA and sound board. “Back line” will include standard drum set, bass amp, guitar amp, and keyboard amp. Transitions between performers will be fast, so you must be ready to plug in and start at your appointed start time.
After You Submit – Your application does not guarantee you will be invited to perform. Only a limited number of performance slots are available. When we receive your completed and signed Performer Application and audio, we will send you an e-mail confirmation. If you are selected to perform, you will be notified and given a scheduled performance time. The Haverford Music Festival reserves the right to withdraw the invitation to perform or limit the performance time at any time for any reason without notice. Festival performances must be appropriate for all ages. Performers agree to hold harmless Haverford Music Festival, Haverford Township and their representatives for any damages caused by actions or neglect by performers.
