Bands or solo artists wishing to perform at the Haverford Music Festival and willing to play for no compensation complete this Performer Application form and submit it together with a sample of your music.
General Information – The Haverford Music Festival is a day of FREE outdoor live music on multiple stages in the heart of Havertown. The family-oriented event features a wide variety of music genres showcasing the diverse talent from in and around Haverford Township. Net proceeds from vendors and sponsors benefit the Haverford Civic Council.
Showcase Opportunity – The Haverford Music Festival gives local and area artists the chance to perform in a large public setting attended by an estimated 10,000 music lovers. All submitted music and bio information is featured on the “BYO” internet radio station at www.iRadioPhilly.com regardless if the artist or band is selected to perform at the Festival.
If You Are Selected – Performers selected for the Haverford Music Festival are allotted 10 – 40 minutes of stage time at a time determined by the festival’s music director. Merchandise may be sold from the merch table for 30 minutes directly after playing. Performers receive pre-festival promotion via the festival website (haverfordmusicfestival.org) and through social media. Festival performances must be appropriate for all ages.
Audio Gear Provided – Stage, sound, lighting and back line are provided by the festival to insure a smooth and timely transition between acts. The “front line” audio includes microphones, PA, and sound board. The “back line” includes standard drum set, bass amp, guitar amp, 88 key keyboard, and keyboard amp.
After You Submit – Only a limited number of performance slots are available and your application does not guarantee that you will be invited to perform. When we receive your completed and signed Performer Application and audio samples, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. If you are selected to perform, you will be notified and given a scheduled performance time. The Haverford Music Festival reserves the right to withdraw the invitation to perform or to limit the performance time at any time for any reason without notice. Performers agree to hold harmless Haverford Music Festival, Haverford Township and their representatives for any damages caused by actions or neglect by performers.
