What is the Haverford Music Festival?

The Haverford Music Festival (HMF) is a showcase of music of all genres featuring talented artists, musicians and performers from Haverford Township and the surrounding area.  The festival is a rain or shine event.  The event draws about 10,000 people to the center of Havertown for a day of music and fun. HMF serves as the primary fundraiser for Haverford Township Education, Arts & Music Society (HTEAMS), who has been running it since 2019. Net proceeds of the festival will provide funding for projects that enhance the quality of life in Haverford Township.

Applications for the 2024 Haverford Music Festival are open. Only performers who have submitted our application will be considered. For the 2024 festival please apply here.

NOTE: Performer applicants are volunteering to perform for no fee and no expense reimbursement. Performing artists will be available to sell their merchandise at the designated “Meet and Greet” area at the Merch Tent.

We want to extend a special thank you to all the performers that provided us with such a wide variety of excellent music and entertainment in the past. To give new acts the chance to play, performers cannot appear in consecutive years. Artists who appeared at the 2023 Haverford Music Festival are ineligible to apply for 2024.

“Thanks to all the artists who apply to perform at the Haverford Music Festival. Due to the large response, we have only contacted selected artists. Selected artists were already notified.”

Due to the coronavirus outbreak and concerns for the safety of our community, The Haverford Music Festival, was on hiatus in 2020 and 2021. But we came back for our 10th year on August 27, 2022!
