The Haverford Music Festival attracted more than 15,000 people who enjoyed over 30 bands on three stages. The 2012 Haverford Music Festival was an all day, family-oriented event, presenting continuous live music with free admission to all venues in the Oakmont business area of Havertown. As the festival organizer, the Haverford Township Civic Council (a nonprofit 501c3 organization) benefited from festival proceeds and will use those proceeds to fund community-based programs within Haverford Township. Proceeds from the 2011 Music Festival were given to the Haverford Partnership for Economic Development (HPED) for Oakmont Business District Beautification.
