Playing upbeat alt-pop on an acoustic guitar, Jason McCue croons and yelps and gyrates his way into your heart. Just out of high school, he’s been playing music at open mics and in bedrooms for years. But for all his seclusion until this point, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone as comfortable in the spotlight as he is, and you will walk away from his enthusiastic shows with his songs lodged in your brain. When he’s not playing music at open mics, he is hosting the open mic at Melody’s Cafe in Ardmore.
