Elaine Romanelli‘s clear voice and vibrant spirit meld in earthy, tuneful songs that build bridges of empathy into listeners’ hearts.
Her current album The Hour Before was named to four “Favorite Albums of 2015” lists by DJs from around the U.S. It debuted at #3 on the international Folk DJ list the month of its release.
The album’s success is resulting in high profile performances, including a west coast tour, opening spots at venerable east coast clubs including The Hurdy Gurdy, and a recent appearance on Chicago radio show Folkstage, broadcast live to 15,000 listeners.Elaine was chosen last fall from among hundreds of applicants around the US and Canada to be a 2016 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist. At the start of 2017 she was named Composer-In-Residence at an Episcopal church in NYC.
