Rachael Lipson is a coloratura soprano, a spirited performer, and a proud Philadelphian. She recently appeared in Werther (Sophie) and Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Blonde) with the University of Delaware Opera Theater, and as a participant with Music Academy International, OperaWorks, and the Florence Voice Seminar programs. Rachael has performed in Apple Blossoms (Polly Stewart) with Philadelphia’s Concert Operetta Theater, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cobweb) with Westminster Opera Theatre, and in Hansel and Gretel (Sandman/Gretel cover), Rigoletto (Page Boy), and The Merry Widow (Jou-Jou) with the Delaware Valley Opera Company. She is a winner of Westminster Choir College’s Voice Scholarship Competition and later received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance there in 2013. Rachael earned her Master of Music in Voice at the University of Delaware, where she was a Teaching Assistant in Diction and an Assistant Opera Director.
Rachael is a Haverford High School 2009 grad.
